What to Wear:

  1. Solid Colors: Choose solid colors as they photograph well. Avoid busy patterns or overly intricate designs that may distract from the main subject.

    1. Pastels and Jewel tones are good, but not vivid, ‘glowing’ colors (i.e. neon).

  2. Avoid Logos and Busy Patterns: Logos and busy patterns can be distracting. Opt for clean, classic looks that will stand the test of time.

  3. Consider the Background: Think about the location of the photo shoot. If it's outdoors, choose colors that contrast nicely with the surroundings.

  4. Selection - Options and choices are good! (Please bring more than one option of clothing)

  5. Mind the Season: Dress appropriately for the season and weather. Layers can add visual interest and be adjusted as needed.

    1. Clothing should reflect the activity and environment of the shot

    2. Active wear/Swim wear-modesty, quality/visual appeal is important

  6. Accessorize Thoughtfully: Accessories can add flair to an outfit, but don't overdo it. Choose one or two key accessories that complement the overall look.

  7. Fit Matters: Ensure that clothing fits well. Clothes that are too tight or too loose may not photograph as well.

  8. Grooming: Pay attention to grooming details. Hair and makeup should be done in a way that enhances your natural features.

  9. Comfort is Key: While style is important, comfort should not be sacrificed. If you're not comfortable in your outfit, it may show in the photos.

  10. Consider the Purpose: Think about the purpose of the photos. If they are for a specific occasion or event, dress accordingly.

Remember, the key is to feel confident and comfortable in what you're wearing. When you feel good, it shows in the photos and video!
